In my opinion the film is much better. The show never really knew where it wanted to go.
Seconded. Watched the movie when it came out and the series felt like a bad copy. I wonder if the good reception came from people who hadn’t seen the movie? Maybe not.
I strongly disagree but I think both are good, and worth watching.
The two cops got their own spin off, Wellington Paranormal.

The tone of the humor is much closer to the movie than the American show.
