King Car is actually a Kavalan! They don’t brand it as one for reasons that are probably buried within their marketing department. The first time I added some water to my whiskey it was like a cheat code. Some whiskeys are so different with the addition of water it’s like a 2 for 1 deal.
No shame in adding ice, there are a lot of things I prefer on the rocks.
No shame in my game - just wanted to show my cards. I’ve met some purists over the years who seem to take icing a whiskey as a personal offense. “You added ice to ____??? What’s wrong with you?” Psh. There may be something wrong with me, but it’s nothing compared to the internal mental cluster---- that leads to being offended by someone else putting ice in their drink.
