If anything it’s the reverse I’d think. Just look at books without a Happily Ever After and how that’s looked down on, and why its a requirement for Romance publishers.

Honestly it was anime. I don’t know if there was a specific use of Japanese music in anime that did it. I was a pretty casual listener. I might have got more into it with LiSa due to Sword Art Online, Mayn with Macross Frontier, and Maaya Sakamoto with Tamayura.

I’ve long used librarything. I really like the amount of adat and data vis it supports. Plus its openness in terms of adding new entries.
