Can you elaborate on your needs? Google Drive is so many things! Also, what are the things you don’t need in Nextcloud that makes you think it is “bloated”?
On Mastodon I’m @narF@mstdn.fr

So far I found:
/c/decentralized : Seems inactive for more than a year?
/c/p2p : Seems empty
/c/p2p@lemmy.world : Also look empty
Seems like I’m not the only one being confused about this: https://mastodon.social/@mcc/110526680864188856
People are copy-pasting a post URL in the search box and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
I think this could related to auto-filling password? I get the endless spinner when using Bitwarden auto fill (Firefox on iOS)
my workaround: auto fill your username and password, touch Login, type an extra letter in the password field after your password, delete that extra letter, touch Return again.
“and there is a Lemmy project with an official website at…”
You wrote the same URL twice ;)
The correct URL for the Lemmy project is: https://join-lemmy.org/
@nachtigall@feddit.de @jumanjimanju@lemmy.ml Ok, but if I want to share on Mastodon, I need to use the URL of the original post.
For example, try to copy and paste these URL in the search box of Mastodon:
https://lemmy.ml/post/1147609 (this one won’t work because it’s not the “original” URL)
https://kbin.social/m/kbinMeta/t/3836/Search-for-remote-magazines-communities-not-always-works (this one will appear on Mastodon)
Agreed! Don’t spend at first. Reuse an old computer. See if you like doing this!
I was reading more and spending time creating (drawing and making animated shirts in Flash!)
You’ll probably get a better response if you contact Firefox directly: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/contact/ (Just so you know, you’ve tagged a community group (https://lemmy.ml/post/951550) , not an official Firefox account)
Not sure if it’s related, but I recently found some people who are trying to clarify and improve the ActivityPub specs : https://codeberg.org/fediverse/fep
Yeah? I though quote-tweet were being used for harassment?? What did I missed?
I’m really missing the Group feature from Facebook. A lot of people can’t leave facebook because that’s their only contact with their dance class, activist group, family group, neighbours, knitting circles, etc. Lemmy is getting close, but it’s not mainstream at all. I’ve heard that Pixelfed and Mastodon are working on a group feature but no details on the timeline.
Groups can be broken down into 2 parts:
Does IRC support sending messages to people offline? Or is that still not supported?
