I live in Denmark, here the chargers are placed where people park anyway. Grocery stores, parking lots, rest stops…
It’s getting so easy to find a fast charger/resto combo, that we don’t even plan it from home.
I’ve seen few 200+ watts chargers without looking for them, but the car is ready faster than I am anyway.
I don’t have enough charge for my trip. I’m also thirsty.
I go to a grocery store with a fast charger.
I buy a drink.
I have enough charge.
If it’s a long trip where I need more charge, I choose a car snack, and I’ll have enough.
If I’m on an actual long car trip and I want to charge all the way from the warning light to 100%, I will need to eat a meal anyway. I just find a McDonald’s/cafe,/restaurant/whatever with a fast charger, and it’ll be full before I’m done.
But finding a store/eating place with a fast charger is still waaaay less convenient than just finding a place where I can get diesel in seconds, and find a different place to get drinks/food/snacks.
Because it draws those “pixels” as the signal reaches the monitor. When half of a frame is transmitted to a CRT monitor, it’s basically half way done making it visible.
An LCD monitor needs to wait for the entire frame to arrive, before it can be processed and then made visible.
Sometimes the monitor will wait for several frames to arrive before it processes them. This enables some temporal processing. When you put a monitor in gaming mode, it disables (some of) this.
My first PC was FULL of memory. It had ALL the memory. No amount of money could add more. It had 640KB. It was crazy.
My first computer wasn’t a PC, it had 64KB RAM. I never needed more.
When I was in Denmark I was shocked how many cameras there were, everywhere. I mean not just in the city, but everywhere on the countrywide.
I’ve lived in Denmark for decades. The only cameras I see are basically surveillance cameras in stores etc and speed cameras. I see more cameras in most other countries I go to.
We have nothing compared to fx. London.

Denmark is one of those weird countries where its illegal to have your map software tell you where the speed cameras are.

Security is a spectrum. Telegram has never been the most secure alternative, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have any security.
If it’s “just a phone”, it’s not running Android. No Android that I ever heard of is “just a phone”.
The cops aren’t going to sit there and wait for the person to start shooting at them.
That’s what they do in countries where non-criminals aren’t afraid of the police, and they seem to do much better both in terms of staying safe and keeping the citizens safe.

The minimum salary in McDonals is around 3500 USD per month for a standard 37 hr/week, including pension.
This is every month, not affected by holidays, sick leave, paid vacation… It comes with 5 or 6 weeks of paid vacation per year, and virtually unlimited sick leave.
Yeah, I also don’t understand why McDonald’s says they can’t raise salaries or improve working conditions, because it will make the price go up. So why is it expensive now?
(Yes, taxes are high here. But we also have a lot of stuff that is tax paid, that evens it out somewhat.)

Og når man kommer tilbage til jobbet er der en større risiko end normalt, for at miste jobbet af helt urelaterede årsager.

My car can drive 4 people and their luggage. I need that every time my family goes anywhere.
But usually it’s just me and my laptop bag, maybe a couple of grocery bags.
So I’m that guy. Big car, rarely filled to capacity. What do you suggest I do? Buy two cars to reduce waste?
(Although mine is not an American pickup, it’s a European station car. If that changes anything.)
It’s cheaper, especially for such a relatively uncommon battery type.
I wish my normal oven was a convection oven so I didn’t need an air fryer.
Here, pretty much everybody has a convection oven. I wish I understood why air fryers are so popular here.

I’m not having any of that. I’d rather just not eat out. Enjoy no tip AND one less customer.
I’ll pay extra when I get extra. I paid over 150% yesterday. I’ve given big tips for free services. People sometimes give my cash tip back assuming I accidentally gave them 10x my intention. But not when it’s a simple transaction when I get what I ordered and I’m paying the advertised price.
Yep, the included feet are just something you might be able to use until you get a real mount.
If you really want the TV to stand on furniture, buy a proper vesa mounted stand (they can be very cheap) and maybe even a proper TV table.

My ISP only has symmetric. The cheapest one they advertise costs about 10 Big Macs per month.
I can’t speed test my connection as my wifi is the bottleneck. But the way our law is, they can’t really lie about speed. The “up to” trick was banned a long time ago.

Det kommer virkelig an på så meget.
I mit arbejde er jeg i perioder primært kreativ. Jeg tror på at jeg kan levere præcist den samme mængde kreative ideer på 30 og 37 timer.
Men selv når jeg ikke er kreativ, så er der grænser hvor meget jeg kan arbejde fokuseret. Det ville ikke overraske mig hvis jeg var ca lige så produktiv hvis jeg gik ned på 30 timer om ugen, uanset om det er fordelt på 4 eller 5 dage.
På den anden side, så har jeg også haft jobs hvor hver time var ca lige produktiv, og færre timer ganske enkelt var proportionelt reduceret produktivitet.
Wow, US really is different. Here, if you don’t have a contract, you don’t have a job. Don’t even show up for work before you have a signed contract.

Hvis jeg tæller dage til jeg mister hus og bil og familiens fysiske rammer er i fare mens jeg er på kontanthjælp, så skal de altså lade mig søge arbejde, og ikke spilde al min sparsomme tid og energi på et eller andet tilfældigt for at “holde mig aktiv”.
Jeg har været i aktivering før. Jeg brugte hele dagen på arbejde som en 5000 kr maskine kunne gøre 95%. Min karriere gik helt i stå. Efter jeg “sagde op” tog det mig en uge at få et ordentligt job.
If the competition is that high, the farmers will have very low profit margins. Any extra expense needs to be added to the price.
This won’t affect competition much, as all farmers have the same tax and therefore the same need for increased price.
The only noteworthy thing I see here (based on your information) is that the extra tax is per cow, but the price increase will be on the milk. This will hit farmers with lower amount of milk per cow. I guess this is farmers with more focus on quality and animal welfare.
