“for anyone who is wary of whatever “fosswelt dot org” may be…”
video.fosswelt.org is an instance with “#InvidiousRouter is a Go application that routes requests to different #Invidious instances based on their health status and (optional) response time.”

@Kuro danke @caos@feddit.de
@caos@feddit.de Nun auch “mit freundlicher Genehmigung von Marina Weisband @afelia ♥️” im #Fediverse auf #Peertube : https://tube.spdns.org/videos/watch/d1e06b51-194c-4666-82c3-2389c29eedde
// @inkorrupt
https://freetubeapp.io/
@kubikpixel @invidious @newpipe

@IzzyData @jeena Looking for info on Peertube or for #Peertube videos? For videos there is a special search on sepiasearch.org
@xigoi @Anbalsilfer Not everything is federated yet, but of course we are part of the same network (= #Fediverse ).
For example, I can reply here from Mastodon (from #Friendica #Pleroma etc. it also works) and also make posts in Lemmy communities (by tagging the community account).

@philip_bang
@Quinncuatro @NeonBlue kbin.social is a #kbin-instance.
kbin also has communities called “magazines” and a tab for microblogging in addition.
@piratepost
Beitrag = Thread
@lealternative @jakob
@Tetreo Here, for example, I am answering from Mastodon.
When Mastodon, Friendica, Misskey etc. users tag a community account of Lemmy, the post also appears in the community.@stefenauris
@jakob Thanks, I actually didn’t know that #Peertube can also be subscribed to from #Lemmy, thanks for pointing that out!
I have also just added the information to the article here: https://gnulinux.ch/fediverse-serie-willkommen-im-lemmyversum-communitys-im-fediverse
@lealternative @piratepost
@hackbyte
Oops, strange, the above post (started from my Mastodon account) ended up on kbin. But not in the magazine “kbin” that I had tagged, but in the magazine “Fediverse”.
https://kbin.social/m/fediverse/p/402150/kbin-kbin-social-Can-I-post-to-a-kbin-magazine-from-Mastodon
@ernest
@hackbyte
In any case, my above-mentioned post probably did not arrive on kbin.
But there is already a test magazine here: https://kbin.social/m/test
“Test magazine created for anyone who wants to write on Kbin from other Fediverse software such as Friendica, Mastodon, Pleroma, Lemmy, Bonfire, Misskey, Pixelfed, etc etc”
@ernest
@deadsuperhero There are several forks of Mastodon that have been around for years and work well (not only #Hometown) like #Ecko, #Glitchsoc, etc. for years.
https://joinfediverse.wiki/What_is_Mastodon%3F#What_are_Mastodon_forks_and_why_use_them?
They have many more functions such as editable character limit,
editable poll options, local posts, changeable favicon, markdown formatting - and if that’s not enough, there is plenty of other software in the Fediverse for micro- and macroblogging
