I hate that so much about Epic. How hard is it to just give you a library view? On desktop you have to use their app (or some third party tool) and now they can’t even manage to put it in their Android app.

I looked at the files modified in the last hour and it’s only three old pictures uploaded by me a few weeks ago. I compared one of them and it’s actually larger than the original.

Jumping around with the pogo stick in Keen 6 was so much fun. I recently found the full game. Was surprised how hard that factory level was. But the music was still how I remembered it.
Long Covid is just any long term effects from a Covid infection. ME is the most prevalent one. I think it makes up about 50 % of Long Covid cases.
Personally I suspect that ME can generally develop from viral infections. Epstein Barr is known to lead to ME and now Covid 19. I bet there are tons more, including common colds and flu.

At least the database doesn’t have any references to any. And browsing the communities all the images and videos are loaded from external sources.
At the moment I suspect that lemmy is still instructing pict-rs to store them but not actually writing this to the database. But I’d like some proof of that first.

I love the Turkish/German multicultural productions by Fatih Akin.
The last one was very controversial when people clocked that the female lead Sibel Kekilli used to star in porn movies. She went on to play Shae in Game of Thrones and the lead investigator in the German crime movie series Tatort.
I think my favourite Fatih Akin movie is Im Juli. A funny love story of a man chasing his love through eastern Europe from Germany to Turkey.
And now that I think back on the time when I watched those movies I’m reminded of the brilliant Skandinavian movies out there.
Good times, when my best friend would knock on my door (without having to bother my parents), we’d smoke some weed and then watch some Monty Python, Battlestar Galactica or the next great European movie we could find.
I made a quick and dirty (emphasis on dirty) app to do that. You upload your own music and m3u playlists and get a link to share with your friends. The master controls what’s played and that is synchronised to everyone. We used it to control music for our remote D&D sessions.

The code and interface are really ugly. And I cannot provide support because I’m disabled. But it can serve as a proof of concept.
I was so blown away by that installer. I was used to having to set up my soundcard for every game and often encountering problems with that. Hearing the frickin’ installer talking to me without any setup was like magic.
I feel like however we call it people won’t get it either way.
My wife was talking to potential caretakers the other day and stressed that I probably couldn’t handle more than 10 minutes a week, possibly only every two weeks. And they send us a proposal for two days with an hour each per week.
