Looks like they changed their name to Stoat.

You’re thinking of Guilded.
Looks like Roblox forced everyone using Guilded to suddenly have a Roblox account in 2024, and then Guilder officially shut down about 2 months ago (end of 2025).

Price history: https://steamdb.info/app/1172620/

The bill – labeled AB 1720 – would make it illegal to resell a concert, theater, comedy or other live entertainment ticket (sports are not included) at a price higher than face value (the cost of the ticket plus fees from the primary ticketing source) plus 10% for shows taking place in California.
I’ve had to sell a ticket through ticketmaster because we weren’t going to be able to make it to the show. The problem is that I had to sell the ticket at a higher price just to break even with the fees that they add on.
At least with this bill we would still be allowed to sell it without taking a loss, but I wonder how it handles the case for when a ticket has been resold multiple times.
Still I think we really need a law like this if we want to tackle the scalping issue we have.

In discord, the name of the messenger is:

The decision does not apply to every game, instead the courts would have to look at each game to see if loot boxes would be considered gambling or not.
From the article:
The Supreme Court of Austria has ruled that the loot boxes in the FIFA games do not constitute gambling as they do require some skill.
GamesMarkt reports that the justices in Vienna have decided that the specific game mechanic in FIFA Ultimate Team is not gambling, but they also state that loot boxes can be gambling. To be specific, loot boxes and the games they are part of need to be taken together on this matter.

That looks like one very specific issue rather than a lot of issues of something to really worry about.
Personally I haven’t noticed had any issues uploading images for posts.

In that case, make sure you enable E2EE.
They definitely try to dissuade you from doing this with all of the “are you sure? You’ll lose access to all these features” warnings.

Yeah, if you really wanted to use chrome, you’d have to use something like Brave where they forked and did not move over to Manifest V3.

Some additional features that PieFed has:
That’s just what I can think of off the top of my head. Otherwise a more complete list can be found here: https://join.piefed.social/features/

I did a little digging. It looks like the dev posted to Reddit and answered a question about this:
It’s an online game where the logic runs server side. That means most of the “anti-cheat” mostly revolves around anti-botting which is a server problem. Steam asks to know if you’re using an industry recognized anti-cheat system. I’m not, and it’s questionable how useful one of those would be for an online game like this.

One thing that has helped me is using addy.io for creating aliases for any service/website that I sign up for.
It has made it incredibly easy to switch email services without having to update each and every website I have an account with.
For example, recently I didn’t like the name of the email account I had on proton. So, I created a new account, went to Addy.io, changed the setting for where all my emails get directed to by default, updated the PGP key for encryption and at that point all future emails were being routed to the new email address. I could have just as easily switched over to a different provider.
Proton gets some bonus points because they have a tool that will allow you to export all of your emails as well as reimporting them into another account.

While it doesn’t support logging in to Steam, it does have an “Add to Steam” option for every game which is very useful for devices like the SteamDeck.

Yeah, there’s a notice that “adtraction” is blocked if you have some sort of dns level ad blocking in place.

To all those wondering: no, this is not a new trailer. It’s the same one from 6 months ago.

Actually, it’s already a feature with some smart glasses. Like these:

Does blorp support showing crossposts the way that PieFed handles it? (Displaying comments from each community on the post).
API refugee. I went to Lemmy first, then jumped over to PieFed because of the awesome features and devs. I still use my Lemmy account for a particular community.

I’ve seen some streamers set up so that they can stream on multiple services simultaneously. It might be something worth looking into.
