My 5290 definately is. But it’s slightly thick. 12-13 inchers are still portable in my opinion.

Under 140, latitude 5290 (from 2018, 8350u). I bought it ~2y ago. Small, 12 inch, decent keyboard, very upgradable, decent build quality, but the LCD is horrendous. Edit: used, could probably be found under 100€.

If I had to use it daily, I would kill myself, but if you’re fine with it, enjoy it. Of course it can’t beat thinkpads and my Dell latitude 5290 (the new latitudes are pretty much the same (edit:as the ideapad) and part whitelist on tp-s).

Oh god no, ideapads. My dad has one and the metal parts hardly fit together after a year, the key travel is 1mm and the touchpad is practically useless.

Ehm, I think the abuse is the joke. But the coming home part is just a stereotype (apart from drinking). The abusers I experienced become violent if slightly provoked or just randomly.

For me it’s just boring. I wake up, can’t move and am desperate to piss plus I have to hold it for ~1min before being able to move and go. Edit: I did have hallucinations at night as a child and I remember being scared by them. Now I just get an eery feeling occasionally.
