The one thing that synthetic biology has is that it can grow exponentially. It could rapidly draw down lots of CO₂ or consume lots of methane.

On the other hand, it can go sideways at an exponential rate, too.

I am still trying to work on solutions; carbon capture in particular.

Where is this? Any speculation on the intermediate objectives?

Lessig’s Code is Law book goes into great detail on this general issue. Whatever the code does is the law, for all practical purposes. It’s impossible to click a button that the programmer did not put there.
