      And what’s more, there was a follow up drone to capture the aftermath.

    how useful/necessary is finishing off wounded soldiers? wouldn’t they already be out of the fight? either requiring resources from the enemy to be saved or dying on their own if left untreated? also, isn’t it a war crime to attack wounded troops?

      You have to be actively surrendering, and it has to be suitable conditions to surrender.

      Other than that… killing foreign soldiers invading your country takes priority over walking over there and checking their pulse, or leaving them be in order to monitor whether they are pretending to be hurt, waiting it out, or resting, etc.
