One of the reasons I like Trigger so much is that they actually move on to new IPs after properly finishing each one.
They take risks every time to make something amazing, instead of milking the same thing until it’s ruined. And they seem to keep mostly nailing it show after show.
As such, you should be asking for Trigger to make more stuff in general, and they are!

I would consider this an exception. I remember that this anime got a rushed ending for some reason and left many plots open.
I really hoped for a second season but will never happens unfortunately.
Unfortunately the right way to expand on BNA I think, is to remake it as originally intended, not a season 2.
So as you say, we’ll never see it happen.
