      Seems like that could be abused. Some 80+ year olds are in much better shape than some 60+ year olds. Besides, the voters put them there, we’re all to blame.

          They aren’t getting the votes to be viable in the general election, but there are primary candidates from both parties. I would love to see a ranked choice voting system or something that would promote a wider field.

          @JohnEdwa functionally no. Two parties two candidates. Legally there is room for a third party to run but functionally a third party is never going to win an American presidential election any time soon. The only way we’re going to widen the field is to vote democrat at the top (only ones open to election reform) and build ground up third party support. We CAN get third parties in lower elections. That’s possible.
