I think lemmy.ml restarting the server helped the ‘pending’ subscribe problem, it started to come back for me once the server had been running an hour or more post-upgrade. It’s better, but I still am having some get stuck.
Missing comments and postings are also not as glaring in the user interface as a ‘pending’ subscribe.
Be nice to see that fixed, when is 0.18 going to be officially released? That seems like a pretty high number on release candidates. Though I understand there’s some controversy with captcha removal, how’s that going to pan out?
I think I’ve seen Jellyfin hit 14 rc’s once, as long as there are bugs, it means another rc is needed.
Well hopefully it won’t be that long. Looking forward to some bug fixes, the thing with subscriptions and the various sorts not working right are biggies.
Yep, also noticed I could go through and properly sub to everything without issue, now.
I have, noticed a few small issues.
Clicking read alerts aren’t disappearing. Had to clear the cache, very forcibly too.
Commenting, and federation though, works MUCH better.
Oh there are tons. Community banners and icons are now displayed in such an ugly way that it can’t be intentional.
From my instance, I am unable to open communities on lemmy.ml using search. At all. Even already subbed ones don’t show up.

After I completely cleared my cache (on both my browser AND, cloudflare), lots of the basic functionality started working again.
Does appear, lemmy very aggressively caches things.
How is the performance/stability?
So far, seems to be working great.
Lemmy.ml is running it too
0.18 rc6 of what?
Lemmy itself. What the instances (lemmy.ml , lemmy.world etc) run. It’s not something users can update to.
Lemmy and lemmy-ui
