Sadly, this doesn’t tell us anything we didn’t already know.

I’m really happy to live in a large nordic city. People in my demographic are basically atheist by default, so I almost never have to deal with any religious bs in daily life.

I don’t have the words to express my sheer jealousy of what you enjoy. We keep pointing to Nordic models of society for what we want to achieve, and all we get are excuses for why that can never happen in what’s supposed to be the “greatest nation on Earth.”

American Exceptionalism. We can do anything we set our minds to – except that.

“America is too big for rail” - Was literally built, BY rail.

It’s mind-blowing, watching what’s being done to you guys by a powerful few, and a deluded many.

Finland at least isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. I agree with our current conscription, if not its gendered application to males only, but good lord was the amount of vestigial religious pomp in the military difficult to bear. We’re also behind in trans rights, and our renowned education system is being pushed to the breaking point by waning political interest in funding it properly.

And there’s always some idiot representatives trying to import western political issues, for some ass-backwards reason.
