It has been claimed in a report that Valve earned almost $1 billion from Counter-Strike case openings in 2023.

    Watching streamers burn cases with money that subs donated is top tier hilarious. Not to mention one of those streamers got a rare knife worth like $20k.

    Oh, “CS cases” here = CounterStrike cosmetics.

    My first thought was that it sounds pretty unethical to be making that much money on Customer Service tickets. Not even sure how that would work.
