Hey all, I’m just looking for some solid story driven games on Xbox gamepass, that are equally fun to play. I had been recommended the Mass Effect series, and while I believe the story will be great, the first game is an absolute slog to get through right now.
What are some good story games that are equally entertaining in the actual gameplay that are currently on gamepass?
Heck, even just games with solid gameplay will do, if the story is serviceable.
Not all inclusive, just a list of games I’ve personally enjoyed for both story and gameplay. All of these are story-heavy though:
-Dishonored -Dragon Age series -Fable series -Fallout series (3 and New Vegas are my favorites) -Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice -Middle-Earth: Shadow of War -Oblivion -Pillars of Eternity -Shadowrun -Yakuza: Like a Dragon (haven’t played the others enough to have an opinion) -Titanfall 2
I second Yakuza: Like a Dragon!
I still think Yakuza 0 is the best starting point, but wouldn’t discourage anyone from starting with Like a Dragon, either.
