AFAIK they aren’t there yet right? Should the developers of lemmy do it or should it be up to the instances to decide whether to do it or how to implement them?

    I think they will very useful if and when the user base of the bigger instances become big enough, I don’t know how fast we will get there though.

      It would be good to settle in for the long haul. Like reddit, things will change over a span of years. And lemmy doesn’t necessarily need to copy everything about reddit, or restrict itself only things reddit already did. And some parts of reddit, I hope never make it into lemmy.
