Global warming. Plastic. Poverty. Housing. Mass extinction. Ecosystem collapse.
Situation with poverty and housing (economics parameters) is arguably better than in the past. And not just better, much better. The rest is not capitalism crisis. They are civilizational problems.
Because if they open up discussion about the real issues, such as the concentration camps or healthcare crisis, they’ll have to admit that they’re complicit, so they deflect by pretending the bad things about Trump are superficial things like his appearance or manner of speech.
Meanwhile the other side deflects conversation from doing real terrible things by stirring up controversy from superficial things (helped by large distributors of misinformation)
