There’s a $5k federal rebate on personal EVs too and provincial rebates too in many provinces. You can buy an electric cargo bike for that price.
They also need to change all sorts of traffic lights and repave large sections road. There are cement barriers implanted into the road and the large removable ones have been there for so long they’d leave imprints in the asphalt. Not to mention maneurvering through the city with construction equipment while attempting to keep one way traffic in a single lane open.
Here’s one small easy thing you can do to help https://www.cycleto.ca/ilovebikelanes
Do you feel that a thin line of paint protects you from getting hit by a car?
Strollers don’t bother me at all. It seems difficult enough being a parent, I’m not going to hate on them for using a stroller.
People smugly say that for every petition. There’s no benefit in defeatism.
Ken M still at it
Shoutout to all the rad women on bikes.
Absolutely.
Since the GTA was amalgamated, it’s made Toronto conservative due to the suburbs now being part of Toronto. This has significantly grown conservative support since. Also, we need to vote more.

Goodyear Canada is set to invest more than half a billion dollars to expand and modernize its tire plant in southeastern Ontario, with the goal of making the plant net-zero in less than two decades.
Car tires will not help us achieve net zero. EVs will marginally help but we achieve net zero with walkable/bikeable cities and improving our public transit infrastructure to be the fastest and most convenient option.
Reminder to people to support their local transit and cycling advocacy groups.
I think we can fix it by spending another 10 billion on new highways and additional lanes instead of funding transit. Surely, it will work this time. /s
So so good!
And patreon/liberapay for creators and journalists I enjoy.
I like you at least as much as the meme itself
Aaaaaaaaad… it’s migrants.
Have you ever used a crosswalk at an intersection with cars? People constantly take a run at pedestrians and run red light which kills people all the time. Drivers constantly park in bike lanes next to empty driveways and empty parking lots. Does that mean I should not support roads for cars because “you guys can’t handle bike lanes?” See how absurd of a statement that is?
