In a landmark visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Athens, the two countries agreed to boost trade and establish communication channels between coastguards to tackle the issue of migration.
They already help each other regularly during earthquakes and forest fires. While both countries remember the past, new ways forward have been forged for decades by empathetic citizens of both countries. Similar food and even some common language also help.
