The one thing I’ll really miss if my migration becomes permanent and complete is the Last Drive-In live discussions during JBB season.

I have Shudder but I don’t ever watch anything on it. Though, I’ll admit I like being able to turn on the TV function and just drop into whatever they’re playing. I’ll do that sometimes when I can’t decide what to watch

You should give The Last Drive-In a try sometime! It’s currently mid-season and they’re on a hiatus until the end of June, but most of their old episodes are still up on Shudder. They only take episodes down if Shudder ever loses streaming rights for a particular movie.

The trailer for season 2 does a good job explaining exactly what it’s all about.

Let me know what you think!

If you['re old enough to] remember MonsterVision from the 90s, The Last Drive-In is hosted by the same Joe Bob Briggs. The actor who plays him dusted the character off at the exact right time.

Those of us who grew up with him are entering prime nostalgia years, while younger folks were already primed for his video essay style that was ahead of its time during his initial run on MonstetVision.
