I see no problem with Dr doom. Great physical presence, strong voice, can be very calculating and brooding.
John Hamm is the kind of person who will set you on fire, drag you by your scrotum with a claw hammer, and never apologize for it. “It’s a fucking bummer. I moved on from it.”
Yeah, that could be Doom. “Yes I killed those people. I’ve moved on, Reed.”
I agree, that character really fits him.

It wasn’t creative, it was what he actually did in college and said in response.
