      I really hope they can turn it around, but with the budget cap they can’t do it the old McLaren way. But equally, maybe reigning in the big spenders will condense the grid in their favour.

        Yeah I’m not sure they can now, feels like the Whitmarsh era, but I think they can make it up next year; especially with the new wind tunnel coming online this year

    Strange to see Alonso that far back. Some good racing for sure.

      Given Sainz’s result relative to Leclerc (and Leclerc relative to Perez relative to starting position) I think it might just be that the upgrades from Mercedes, Alpine, and Ferrari (only on Sainz’s car iirc) have had them catch up. I haven’t heard anything about Aston upgrades recently
