or to become better artists using these tools. as an artist, i’ve long been excited about the possibility of a holodeck experience. imagine being able to create entire worlds to share with others.
for now we just have it in 2d image form with 3d/video in the works. it’s still a boon because it can help artists create, especially if they’ve destroyed their bodies doing art the traditional way. i personally can’t draw for more than a few minutes without my hands going numb, and it’s ruined my life as an artist. being able to so accurately create an image without destroying your hands is a great blessing for many artists. it’s just a shame our current socio-economic system demonizes the technology.
and you basically have complete control, as long as you can imagine what you want, you can have it.

have anything else you want to change? just change it. you have amazing artist tools at your disposal, as long as you can imagine what you are looking for, and how much time you want to spend getting what you want others to see.
if i wanted to, i could polish errors, alter slight details, which could have large emotional effects on an image. if i wanted to be more accurate maybe i could change the feathers to flowers and ribbons.
or we can decide that making art with cave wall murals is more legitimate, and stick to that as the only socially acceptable form of creating works to express what you’d like to express.
