I think you are right. The one closer to the camera never moves or fires, so it very likely may be disabled. Looks like its back gate is down as well. Hard to tell from the video if there is any serious damage or if they just need to get an engineering crew in to patch it up.

From what I’ve read, the one not moving deployed the smoke screen.
