Released in 2001, the Nintendo GameCube was Nintendo's first console to have an optical drive. In this episode we take a deep dive in the security of the GameCube and how it was defeated by both Soft-modding and Hard-modding techniques. Huge thanks to emu_kidd and gc-forever.com for helping with some information/history! • 3: No untagged game spoilers. If the game was recently released or not released at all yet, use the Spoiler tag (the little ⚠️ button) in the body text, and avoid typing spoilers in the title. It should also be avoided to openly talk about major story spoilers, even in old games.
