I live alone and all of my computers are password locked with different passwords, and I still use incognito browsing for… alone times.
It’s the same reasoning as not taking the receipt when purchasing alcohol or weed. Only I would know, but I don’t want to be reminded of it.

Unless your drives are actually encrypted, account passwords won’t really stop anything. Browsing activity on incognito can still be forensically retrieved unfortunately.
