This guy’s lips prints are practically tattooed on Trump’s ass, and it still doesn’t protect him from MAGA bullshit.

The FCC Fairness Doctrine has not been a thing since 1987. If they want it back, they should go through the proper channels. This “legislation” based on Trump’s whims is pure theater designed to flood the zone with endless distraction.

The FCC only regulates broadcast media over the airwaves. The public owns radio spectrum, so is federally regulated. Content sent over privately owned wires is protected by the 1st Amendment.

…most recently at a private screening of the film “Melania” documenting First Lady Melania Trump.

I am no fan of Cook, but hasn’t he suffered enough?

I love blaming Apple for things, but this one isn’t their fault.

Apple can’t help that conservatism heavily upon not knowing what’s going on in the world.

Apple’s consistently a mixed bag of good and bad. Most tech people tend to focus on the bad, Apple users tend to focus on the good. I just play devil’s advocate for whichever side is getting more flak, which usually means pro-Apple lol

Oftentimes, regulators have to tell them to get their shit together (alt stores in the EU). Sometimes their shit is together and it’s the regulators who want them to fuck it up. Another example is when they had to stop offering ADP in the UK because the UK wanted a backdoor

appletv+ is unlikely going to be turned into a pro-conservative media, since its owned by apple and the customers watching the shows on it are not of whiney conservative audiences.

In fact they have LGBTQ characters in plenty of their shows and overall I’d say there’s a progressive vibe to a lot of the content. Loot makes fun of rich people. Severance is a lot of things, but it also makes fun of meaningless jobs. Decent amount of PoC representation (IMO) without making a point of being exclusively non-white. Because Apple knows the audience they want to appeal to, and it ain’t a bunch of old conservative men.

oh yea, MYTHIc quest was so heavy into the “representation” and it was obivous it was being called woke to hell by conservatives because of how minorities are in it, it was enough to set them off. It still a bad series overall though, and likely it was a money grab by rob mac anyways. wish they took over stargate instead lol, i a feeling PRIME and GERO wont do SG justice.
