Devil’s Advocate coming in, Joe Rogan doesn’t identify himself as a conservative and does hold some political beliefs of either side, preferring to remain apolitical in many of his interviews, however he does speak with a lot of conservatives and had an especially anti-vax opinion during the pandemic. IMO, he can fuck off, but as an individual rather than a representative of a larger group.

He’s a “right winger” who endorsed Bernie in the primaries and voted for Jorgenson in the general elections. Seems like you really want to simplify a nuanced issue as much as possible, I understand that feeling, but the truth is not black and white.

“When the JRE sends its fanbase, they’re not sending their best. … They’re sending fans that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing stupidity. They’re bringing both-sidesism. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

You say that as if this is some argument against him being a right wing grifter? He routinely pushes right wing bullshit. Thats what makes him a right winger, not wether or not he (claims) votes for the main right wing party, or some useless 3rd party right wing party.

He is left wing. Seeing him as right wing is a common misconception driven by clips of him on social media.

He supports Bernie Sanders and thinks Obama was the greatest president ever. He has refused brining trump on the show. Just a couple examples.

He supports Bernie because weed and Obama was not left wing. He also voted for a right wing party by his own admission and constantly peddles right wing propaganda

I appreciate an earnest Devil’s advocacy, but Rogan was better years ago, he even had a mix of political voices.

Now his guests skew significantly right. He’s still friends with Alex Jones, he’s told his audience on the record to vote Republican, as he himself has done, and he has endorsed Ron de Santis this election cycle (despite the many policies Rogan would disagree with). He is hard right now, but dishonest about it, and it lures people into the right wing grift.

You’re getting down-voted because, either you know all this and are cherry picking outdated evidence, or you don’t but you should.

No, I only presented evidence that is several years old, I don’t follow him so I didn’t hear about his new stances.

This is a left wing echo chamber. Get those alternative views and ideas out of here.

You parrot the narrative talking points or GTFO.

Why does the devil need an advocate? Just state your shitty opinions proudly. The devils advocate facade is a pretty transparent one.

The devil’s advocate is needed to bring the sort of individual fairness that even the worst of us deserve, and to assess the situation from all possible angles. Care to explain why it’s a shitty opinion?

Explain why Joe Rogan is a shitty person and a huge red flag if someone listens to them? Pretty sure everyone else in this thread has already explained that, you just don’t care to listen.

Lmao I also explained that, though? Did you reply to the wrong person? I literally started by calling him the proverbial devil.

No I didn’t respond to the wrong person. You stated devils advocate to go against what everyone was saying and explain why he’s not that bad. Saying devils advocate is not calling him the proverbial devil. You said it’s to bring fairness to a discussion and look at everything from all sides (lol) when all it’s ever used for is to defend and uplift people and ideologies that are hateful and hurtful. It’s a transparent and cowardly move. Just state your opinions because that’s obviously all it ever was, but you knew you’d get ratioed for it so you try and hide behind the devil’s advocate.

I really genuinely said with all sincerity that he can fuck straight off, and I would die on that hill. His vaccine opinions alone have an irredeemable body count. He is a failure as a human being.
