I dunno I feel like those circles should touch, but just barely.

Also Kid Rock’s amoeba shouldn’t even be getting close to the middle where those circles would come together, come on

OG Kid Rock songs were “Damn, its cool to be a rock star. I love drinking and fucking and singing and having fun. Yehaw.”

Modern Kid Rock songs are “Damn, I’m making the laughing-crying emoji face right now, because I can’t stop winning but I’m still miserable. Jesus Jesus Jesus.”

Dude is the textbook case for why more successful artists keep politics out of their music.

Meanwhile, Weird Al is in the intersection of all three circles.

I mean, aren’t basically all of his songs parodies? So he’s not directly creating good music from scratch, since he’s not writing most of the music.

Not to say he’s unskilled or bad. He’s amazing at what he does, and a skilled musician for sure. Though he is directly picking songs that are already popular most of the time instead of creating bangers whole-cloth. (I’m sure he could if he wanted to, of course)

He started out heavy into the parodies, but every album has some originals and they’re often the best of his work. Dare To Be Stupid, Stuck in a Closet With Vanna White, and Virus Alert all slap. Used to have Albuquerque on a mixed tape I listened to for road trips, and I almost sort got the whole song memorized.

I remember when someone asked me if I liked kid rock for the first time. I was confused and said no. I prefer heavy metal.

I still do. fuck kid rock 🤘

He’s a MAGA musician. This is about a person, not a genre even if it sounds like it could be a genre.

He’s the guy that got angry that Bud Light worked with a trans person so he took a fucking automatic weapon and shot a bunch of their beer on his property and posted the video like it was some great patriotic act

He’s also done other, much more foolish and harmful shit.

Basically he’s the biggest, lamest manchild you can imagine. Like, he’s everything that’s wrong and dangerous about America, focused into one singular idiot.

You ever think about the fact that if we put our minds together and made funny clips of excited baby goats set to actually good classic rock go viral as a meme we could essentially disappear Kid Rock from search engines?

We could call the meme Kid Rock 2 and whenever anyone brings up Kid Rock 1 just mercilessly shit on it and say Kid Rock 2 is far better and Kid Rock 1 isn’t worth watching.

Kid Rock is an ‘artist’ whose music is neither good nor interesting, and he is also a bad person

I dunno about the Venn Diagram tho, doesn’t seem to add much of value XD

All of AC/DC’s songs sound like all of their other songs and that is ok. Kid Rocks songs sound like everyone else’s songs and that’s not ok.

I’m hurt that your image posits one can’t be a good person and make interesting music. For the record my music can be both good to listen to and interesting to watch and I am occasionally a good person. I am not to be compared in the same breath as Bobby Ritchie.
