I’m jumping in completely dark. I don’t think the stories of the games follow each other. The narrative stuff seems similar to how Ace Combat does it, each game is self-contained.

The game is leaving me with plenty of questions, but in a good way, not in an “I can’t understand half of this” way but a “I want to know more about this lore” way.
