minus-squareS13Ni@lemmy.studiolinkfedilinkarrow-up17·edit-21 year agoFlying cars is a fucking stupid idea. -constant fear of some drunk driver flying 300kmph to your house -only useful for medium length journey -has to be heavily controlled for safety, meaning you can only fly specific routes -airspace of anything important is no fly zone, like airports, government buildings, ports, basically every city -needs fossile fuel to fly, more than a normal ICE car -needs designated landing area -needs city planning to be centered around them -unlimited potential for terrorists -drivers would need specific license and training Whoever is unironically shipping flying cars is a fucking moron and you can’t prove me otherwise, no matter if it technically works or not.

Flying cars is a fucking stupid idea.
