    The function can touch the asymptote, it just needs to eventually come (and stay) within any given finite distance from the asymptote. sin(x)/x has a horizontal asymptote at y=0 and it crosses it infinitely many times. Mental health implications are unclear.

      Friend took MDMA and quickly found out why it’s illegal. Had an epiphany: “Jesus fucking Christ! Alcohol actually makes me die inside every time but its blurring effect masks it every time!” Never drank again and suicidal thoughts became extremely rare. 🤣

        havent experienced this effect myself but i heard similar stuff from psychedelics, ketamine, even weed. i was half joking though, please be safe above all.

    My relationship is something more like this. Always coming close then mostly bouncing back but never as good as before.
