Im surprised Moomin Papa would be so distraught over bad language. Maybe hes just looking for some conflict to make sure that he wont be bored for a while longer.

Yeah but it looks like he is violently opening the crate and she is telling him not to hurt them too badly.
I think he is doing what he can to get them out quickly, he looks concerned.
Perhaps they are swearing because they were trapped in there against their will
