I have seen a lot of tesla vandalism online the last few days and I’m kind of on the fence about it.

I’ve seen several examples locally here in BC, Canada.

I think totally warranted at newly purchased teslas going forward. Also it serves as a deterrent for potential future buyers.

But vandalizing a car that is a few years old I think is lame. Those driversare already being punished enough by driving something around that’s worth less than scrap.

Older Teslas- no, Cybertrucks - absolutely yes.

Everyone who bought a Cybertruck knew exactly the kind of person they were buying from and made that concious choice

Yeah, I’ve seen a blue lives matter themed swastitruck in my area. You don’t market a vehicle as being bullet proof for normal human beings.

TBF There’s a small portion of cybertruck owners that didn’t know it when they bought it. We’re talking about the initial pre-orderers, like Hoovies garage https://youtube.com/watch?v=mNXhq4dWClY

Granted Tyler’s brand is making stupid decisions, like a Nikocado Avocado but with cars. That he later got the model S plaid must be on him, but at the time the cybertruck looked cool and Elon seemed like a real life Tony Stark. Heck, I wanted one. Good thing I didn’t have the spending cash for a pre-order.
