Summary
El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele has offered to house convicted criminals from U.S. prisons, including U.S. citizens, in exchange for a fee.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed gratitude, calling it an unprecedented act of friendship.
El Salvador will also accept deported migrants of any nationality who have criminal records.
Bukele’s tough anti-gang policies have drastically reduced crime but drawn human rights concerns.
Prisons can’t break your laws if they’re not bound to your laws.
Dear imperial media… Putting people in cages and systemically torturing them doesn’t qualify as “taking in”, “housing”, “accepting”, etc.
JFC.
Usa’s prisons want to get rid of their
slavefree workersprisonniers working for reinsertion ? I am surprisedLike El Salvador didn’t have enough of their own criminals and prisoners, so now they are going to import more.

For a fee meaning Bukele is willing to take US prisoners in exchange for money. Odds that the USA takes advantage of this because US laws would not apply?
