i used to “hatesub” (idk what else to call it) to r/UrbanHell

i actually quite liked a lot of the images on that subreddit, especially of high rises like this, like a good portion of them gave off cozy vibes—maybe low income, but intimate yet still private when needed.

all that to say i think this is kinda cute and i disagree it’s awful taste. maybe could use some greenery but that’s it.

    Excellent taste. Excellent execution.

There’s no accounting for taste, though, so post whatever you want. Thanks for sharing this.

All depends where it is. Not sure for home use (but then again depends on the rest of the house).

Nah, this is fantastic taste and great execution. I love this and would totally do it. But I also have fantasies of one day finding (or genetically engineering) real life borrowers who live rent free in a doll house in my home in exchange for absolutely nothing. I will provide everything. They don’t even have to talk to me. I just want to know they’re there, well cared for, and happy. A happy little village of lilliputian people.

The problem is you can’t really get the consent of anyone who may happen onto you. That’s my issue. I also don’t think that’s why I like this, but I do think it’s really cool.

You can do exhibitionism around people who consent. Like a private party or posting nudes in the internet, etc

Doing it out in public is problematic though yes, I agree

It would be funny if you installed a water proof LCD in one of the tiles or a couple or a few of them. Don’t tell people what you did and when a friend or family member has a shower in there, they’ll think it’s interesting and suddenly the people in one of tiles starts moving or waving at them.

Add a motion sensor that activates a video of the tenent disapproving and closing the blinds.
