We have people like the Joker who give us philosophical questions about our civilization but we’ve yet to see a billionaire use their infinite money and resources to dress up in a suit and mask, fight crime and build a fancy car or jet with exotic weapons to fight real life villains.

That is also what we are all led to believe. If wealth were equally distributed to everyone, everywhere … there would be more than enough food, water and shelter for every living being on the planet. It’s not that the resources are running out, it has more to do with how our economy, wealth and control is distributed. The resources and wealth are held by a few people while everyone else goes without.

Which is the basis of the quote … “Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.”

This doesn’t sound very honourable … what the hell is in that tea?

Rich people don’t want people to die … they want poor to stay alive and live as their obedient slaves that serve them.

I love how the different scifi franchises easily drift into very specific camps

• space explorers and scientists
• space religious fanatics, wizards and fascists
• space warriors and soldiers
• space pirates
• space goofballs

The best one to me is the space goofballs. We like to think that there is intelligent life out there. But there is also the possibility that we could run into space travellers that have no clue what they are doing and just run into us and don’t know what to do and either just hand over technology to us or blow us up by accident. It could be like an intergalactic truck driver making a shipment that happened to blow an engine and decided to park here for a while, give us replicators or exotic material or something dangerous, fix their engine, kill a bunch of soldiers that gave them a hard time, blow up a few things and then went on their way, never caring what they did or what they left. Leaving us all to believe that there is intelligent life out there that wants something to do with us because we think we are important.

Especially this time of year when people are panicking for whatever reason, people are travelling, people are coming and going, people are buying laptops, devices and phones and the majority of them don’t know how digital files or folders even work (or where they are in a digital system).

If you know anything about computers … just pretend you don’t know anything like everyone else. It will save you so much work and headaches this time of year.

And don’t get soft either … cute girl asking for help? NO … old grandma has a new laptop? NO … your dying relative has a new phone? NO! … your two year old niece has a new tablet? NO! … your drug dealer wants to lower your debt in exchange for fixing their PC? HELL NO!!!
