Or getting pulled over and getting interrogated over their ID. Or trying to take a leak while at the office or a restaurant and being told they have to leave.

I have no idea what all the effects of that executive order are, but yeah I could see that being the case now in a lot of places.
Marriage affects your taxes, your ability to buy in a house as a couple, adoption, your will/estate, being in the hospital… A lot of important things.
It’s really basic human rights.
