Of “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” the director acknowledges the twists he has planned might make some viewers say, “‘Fuck, that’s not what I signed up for.’”

I really tried with Avatar, but the CGI is too cartoony, the second one is the worst because they have billy the human boy interacting with these cartoon characters for half the movie which just makes the uncanny valley deeper.

Its not looking unreal that’s the problem its how hard it tried to be realistic and still failed.

That actually is a new complaint I’ve yet to hear. And guess my only response is that I feel sorry you can’t get into the films because they are technical achievements and look and aged great in my eyes. The tech they use in these movies are the best in use to combat that and make sure things look as realistic as possible and it is the best that’s available for a non animated story taking place in a made up world.
