You sent that five different times to the same person, copy-pasting it, after a long and similarly emotional argument with them. That’s not an issue of free speech and the viewpoint you’re trying to express. That’s an issue of, you need to step away from the computer, get to a better place with yourself, because it’s not good for the community you are posting it in, or for the person you’re talking to, or for you.
I don’t know if pasting sections from the horror fiction counts, since it’s “supposed to be horror,” but that was a lot more unhinged. You found a way to write a long and descriptive story where your enemies on Lemmy got killed, but then could innocently claim it was just some creative writing unrelated to any specific people, and people in horror stories are supposed to die, and it’s normal.
It’s not my job to find out if someone has blocked me or not. I didn’t even know you blocked me until you mentioned it at the start of this conversation by saying the variation of “in spite of my attempts to block you…”
Fair. But it also shouldn’t be my job to find every one of your dozen plus accounts that keep popping up, and block all of them, and then any new ones you make.
You get blocked, banned, and in these hostile exchanges with people because you ignore the social contract. That’s on you, that’s your decision. Again, it’s nothing to do with the content you post, or not only because of the content that you post. So, it’s going to annoy people if they block you and then find more content from you popping up, even if you have made a case for why “I’m allowed to do it! The admins said I could! It’s just a new account!”
It seems to me now matter how or what I reply, you are determined to think I have some ulterior motive here. So before you block me, I would really like you to just say what that is.
Don’t be vague, and say “on you like to annoy people.” I feel that under the service you actually think my MO is something specific and sinister. If you feel that would break this subs rules, feel free to DM me.
But I am really, honestly curious what you think my goal is. People mentioned before that by me saying I supported third-parites it was to “throw the election.” Tho even if every single person that voted third-party would have voted for Harris, she still would have lost since the margin was so big.
I truly have no idea. I didn’t say I thought you had an ulterior motive, although I certainly think what you described is possible. I’m just describing your behavior.
You sent that five different times to the same person, copy-pasting it, after a long and similarly emotional argument with them.
And I don’t think that was unhinged. If someone keeps the argument going, I keep the replies going.
But it also shouldn’t be my job to find every one of your dozen plus accounts that keep popping up
And it’s not. Feel free not to worry about every account I make.
I didn’t say I thought you had an ulterior motive
Fair enough. I was curious and was probably reading too much into your anger.
I don’t know if pasting sections from the horror fiction counts, since it’s “supposed to be horror,” but that was a lot more unhinged.
Again, not unhinged. Those stories are direct parodies of the absurdity of Lemmy and how passionate people are.
Even the name of the series is “Tales from the Cryptic Lemmy.” Get it? Tales from the Crypt. The 1960’s outrageous comic and the cheesy 1980’s tv show. And I still write them and just added a story and am finishing up editing one now.
And I have never written any stories about any specific person on Lemmy. Inspired by the outrageous things said to me, yes, but that’s what creativity is. Just like singers write songs about shit people throw at them in real life, and turn it into an awesome tune. (Hi, Taylor Swift–I’m a Swiftie. :))
Also, let’s not forget that you said you didn’t even read them. So are ya saying that you have read them now?
Come on, fess up… it’s ok, we’re friends now. Ya finally reading my stuff? :)
By the way, my most recent story plays on the undercurrent of how some want Lemmy to just stay one way, an echo chamber. Kind of like, you know, a lack of color. It’s a fun pulpy horror story that I’m sure you will find some way to twist into me being unhinged:
"Dr. Caldwell answers a call for help at a strange, colorless mansion, but what he uncovers is anything but pure. In the Lady of Endless White, shadows linger even in the brightest of places!”
See the pulpy cheese of that? Picture the crypt keeper saying it. Kinda one of my best stories to be honest. :)
Dude, it’s Lemmy, don’t take it all so seriously.
And I’m actually writing another Crypic Lemmy story as we speak, so look for that tomorrow.
Sure:

In fact, they stories are still up: https://sh.itjust.works/c/talesfromthecrypticlemmy

Thanks, friend!
Sounds good. I am blocking you again now.
Cheers, mate!
