    In WW2, the UK ran on double DST. +2 in the summer, +1 in the winter.

    +1 is better all round.

      Invalid opinion. Who cares what the UK did with their clocks during the war? What bearing would that have on anything?

        How can you call my opinion invalid without offering any opinion of your own? You’re just shitting on things. That’s invalid.

        The point I made is twofold:

        1. It would be better to run +1 on the current system.
        2. If we do away with DST, it would be better to run summer time all year round.
