    “Simping” for someone you will never meet, at the expense of real world interaction, is not normal human behavior, it’s a form of toxic celebrity worship.

    Other interpretations sure whatever but it started as a term to describe the former case.

      Yeah, sure, and how often do people use it like that, instead of just calling anyone who says anything positive to or about a woman a “simp”?
