I have just finished Slow Horses. It’s a fantastic show that again illustrates how masterful of an actor Gary Oldman is. Move over James Bond, Jackson Lamb has entered the chat and is eating your lunch.
Latest guilty pleasure is Tulsa King.
Currently waiting on a few shows, The Diplomat among them. Been on a bender lately and consumed everything Shogun, Crowded Room, Three Body Problem.
I’m don’t watch much TV but I’ve loved all of these.
I finally finished Breaking Bad😪
Finished watching Daria and was disappointed. Not in the show or the episode, just that it’s over.
I also got back into watching Static Shock. Have the first few episodes on DVD and have been watching the rest of my hard drive. Finished season 1 in a couple days and am maybe a few episodes into season 2. It has turned into my new favorite superhero cartoon.
Besides that, I haven’t been watching much because I’m waiting for season 4 of Wakfu to come out with their English dub so I can probably end up binging both the English and French dub (subs for French).
this week i have been going through the 1970s Christmastime BBC ghost stories, mostly adaptations of MR James stories but a couple of originals in there too, mostly very enjoyable and a lot of them have some truly wtf moments. great for spooky season and they are nice & short too.
as for newer stuff, Teacup & The Penguin are the only weekly tv watches i am really hanging out for right now. also i keep trying to watch Ludwig but although i enjoy it, i inevitably fall asleep around halfway through each episode, just too cosy i guess? 😅
for movies i watched The Substance & Alien: Romulus, i liked the latter a lot more than the former but i’m glad lots of people seem to be enjoying body horror lately.
The Penguin and Culinary Class Wars.
I went to watch Megalopolis at the theatre because I felt like it’s a generational… experience(?)… that needed to be on the big screen. No one else wanted to go with me.
I have regrets.
