It has though. Season 3 dropped in 2021.
I was referring to season 4 but nvm that, I still remembered the allegation that the author is in jail for tax evasion. After re-reading it again it is all false so maybe we will get season 4
No, he was. But it was a 10-month to 3-year sentence IIRC, and he kept writing the LNs while serving it, too.
Edit: and apparently it was house arrest.
So he’s been out since around 2016-18 or something, no reason there won’t be more of the franchise.
The obstacle was that in japan his criminal record might have “disgraced” the series, but season 3 happening shows that didn’t remain an issue.
Hell, I’d be happy if the LN could continue. Been waiting way too long for a new one.
