        Hosting costs are pretty minimal, this can easily run on a $5 / month VPS. If you want, you can provide donation links in your site sidebar.

          Awesome, I like the idea. I’m not interested in making money as a job, just something to cover the hosting fees. but with this, sounds good, $5 even $40 per month should not be an issue.

          is it ok to ask?, if this supports buckets for image hosting? like can i host the images on digital ocean spaces instead putting the load on my server?

            I’m not sure how bucket image hosting works, but pictrs uses a docker image with a folder mount, so you could easily make that folder mount to a network resource over sshfs, and use any file storage hosting you like.
