The story is basically this. The Oktyabrskoye airfield is not currently in use (the runway is at the top of the satellite image). But its warehouses, which are located near the village of Zvezdnoye, are used by the Russian military to store ammunition.

Well, and probably, according to the old Russian tradition, they smoked in the wrong place. But that’s not certain.

⚡️According to the Russian authorities, the movement of two trains has been suspended :

🚊No. 27/28 Simferopol-Moscow, departing on August 6 from Simferopol, stopped at 17.34 near Ostryakova station; 🚊No. 175/176 Moscow Paveletskaya – Simferopol, departing on August 5 from Moscow, stopped at 17.29 near Krasnopartizanskaya station.
