"On Wednesday, Inside Out 2 passed up Incredibles 2 ($1.242 billion) to become the top-grossing Pixar title of all time at the worldwide box office, not adjusted for inflation. "

    Not news.

Well spotted, Hollywood reporter standards aren’t what they used to be

I haven’t seen it yet. I assume it’s at least “quite good if a bit overt with the tugging on heartstrings” and plan to catch it on streaming. I am pleased that Pixar seems to have shrugged off the “Streaming first” stigma they took on during Covid and will get back into a groove of solid originals. Elio for next year looks like a promising premise.

Inside Out is one of the few Pixar movies that was easily teed up for a sequel. I think the majority of people who have seen it and loved it aren’t raving about the tugging at the heartstrings, but mostly are ecstatic about the representation of Anxiete who is an incredibly well written character. I’m just guessing after seeing it only once though

I’d like to see more of the parents emotions, a whole movie even.

Cool now don’t make a sequel, prequel or spin off and go make another original idea.

You know like how Inside out was made in the first place.
