Empire at War is a viable alternative while you wait for this.

So many great mods for it and now is 64 bit
I wish Empire of War had quicker AI turns. It’s my favorite one but you spend so much time waiting for AI turns to complete.
This sounds awesome. I enjoyed TW:WH quite a bit; their model works very well for non-historically-accurate settings, and I’d love to see them do more of these.
I don’t know if they could do a non single world map. Or trust them anymore to make a good game(or bug free)

Once again mashing Total War with a franchise that has war in the title and utterly refusing to do the obvious.

I’d be willing to bet that they are doing this to prepare for an eventual Total War : Warhammer 40K.
